How technology fails and becomes a KD and a hero??

Don't go by the name this story isnt a tech blog giving complete why and how technology fails!

I don't know if it happens to only me or most of us do face this problem. I face this problem day in and day out..let me give some background I work at Bangalore office and my RM is not at Bangalore. Maintaining a distance relationship :) jokes apart.. whenever there is a crunch situation tight schedule there will be a technology failure eg. I am supposed to deliver a document in 10 minutes I would send it from my mailbox it keeps stuck at "Outbox" and never moves to "Sent Items". then I need check my internet connection, network settings etc. finally call Vinay (IT Dept. - next to god ) in my company and he may say Firewall restart madide 5 mins Varun anta.. Thank god my manager doesnt measure my efficiency by the speed of the mail delivered

Other scenario whenever you do a mistake and get into an argument with your friend (girl friend) spouse, etc. when you are trying to convince them with all the knowledge, brilliance, wittyness you have either you would face network issue creating a voice transmission lag/ voice break-up, call disconnection etc. which will create the gap of misunderstanding which may / may not lead to few bomb explosions and after effects of Hiroshima and Nagasaki is left to your karma(kannada karma)

On the other hand just think how this lack of technology builds human relationship and harmony! Let me explain when we were kids these power cuts what we curse today was the most enjoyed time where all quarters kids / apartment kids used to come out and play hide n seek. Neighbors use to chit chat about the happenings in and around their locality (lots of gossips). we used to play antyakshari, word building, 20 questions, gossip about latest movies / last played cricket match, listen to FM radio together, SPEND TIME WITH FAMILY where dad asks son / daughter whats happening in their life how are they  etc. nowadays every body are addicted to A/c, inverter, emergency light / UPS etc and curse that they missed their favorite TV serials/ shows. Cant text their Boy/Girl friend  because of our not so smart phones doesn't give enough battery back ups.

With the inclination towards technology increasing every day we lose a chance to enjoy life. Put your mobile/laptop etc. off go for a long walk with your friend/family/girl friend/etc. and talk about life not about problems. I have done this with Veer, Ramya, Mom, Nitin, etc. it gives immense pleasure to walk n talk with your loved ones especially in a chilled weather at Bengaluru.. Forget all technology play cricket/shuttle/football with your friends that sweat is worth than the ones you get at sophisticated A/c run gyms with your ipod/mp3/4/5/6 plugged in.

There is more to it.. how much ever technology increases sorry advances man cannot hold or save a dying life, without god's consent he cant give birth to a life either.

LIVE UR LIFE UR WAY!

My memories with Ganesha

Ganesha Habba is just round the corner.

The happiness and joy of Ganesha festival is much different from other festivals.

Why Ganesha is close to us?

According to me and many alikes me think that Ganesha is not strict god who is mischief, foody, jolly-go god which all of us know. Stricter in the sense though he is the "Adhi-pathi of all ganas" we need not follow customs as stricter as when we perform Anantha (the strictest) padmanabha vrata, or varamahalakshmi (moderate strict). Hence assuming that he is more or less a friend remembering the movie Ganesha-my friend.

Also the other reason is he is easily accessible everywhere you have key chains to paper weights to little idols that you can keep on your workstation to small to big gold silver etc. articles of ganesha in various designs shapes sizes etc.

Of all the temples (even the big ones) somewhere or the other you can find a Ganesha.

Coming back Ganesha festival - from my Police Quarters memories. Initially when i was in 2nd Standard or so studying at Robbia Convent my dad was the priest at Quarters Muneshwara Temple and 3rd BN KSRP police ganesha would be biggest among the quarters all ganeshas.

For many years in quarters keeping ganesha in each n every galli, cross, cycle stand used to a competition where all teens used to collect money from all quarters people (literally running - I have done it and convincing each and every Uncle and Aunt for that 5 or 10 rupees). What it teaches us? It taught me the great skill of negotiation thats the reason I am part of pre-sales team at HealthFore Technologies today.

It taught us how to be deal with team members who are of different mindset where each individual is creative somebody wants a fountain in front of ganesha some other wants a snow fall (made of cotton) some other wants to keep not just 1 idol but 108 (experienced in quarters) some wants a eco-friendly ganesha other wants tallest or biggest or POP ganesha or Bombay Ganesha or made of Clay or paper etc. Need to respect each n every body's view sharpens your patience and hearing ability and convince your team mates that we are on right path to select the perfect ganesha in alloted (collected) budget of 2-5 thousand.

Then I earned quite some money doing poojas to various ganesha though I wasnt the head priest, when the head priest who again is a cop (my dad's friend) is busy I used to be called for performing pooja, At the end of the Ganesha Chatuthi I might have ended performing poojas first at home then immediately in front road ganesha (which I am active participant) and 3 or 4 more galli ganeshas.

It was fun. I used to perform poojas only after my Brahmoupadesha that was after my 5th std. prior to that it was much more fun. Karthik my cousin used to come to my home for Ganesha festival so our schedule would be get up in the morning, dad used to be either busy with quarters ganesha or his tiring duty so Amma, atte, ajji used to be the priest reading all rituals from the great Vrata ratna mala or any other book. we used to honestly perform pooja and then have breakfast which would be ideally avlakki or upit.
Then go-round and round visit each and every galli ganesha and eat prasada without fail. The kabul channa gram dipped in great oil with lots of cocunut and mustard into it, along with Poha dipped in cocunut and jaggery or the rasayana. We used to be completely full by the time we could return home in noon. Have lunch for the sake of having with lots of kadubus and take rest for a while and the marathon of visiting ganesha along with parents/neighbours/friends continue in the evening.

The money collection taught us money management which is the most important part of life.

The bonding level is different with ganesha (quarters temple) as he has heard my honest and sincere prayings before all exams from say about 1st standard till my last exam of MBA. I wasnt a regulat visitor on result day but prior to exam starting especially the day before exams I used to offer my praying 99% without fail. Thank god for listening to my prayings.

Vallabamba Shakti Mahaganapathi in Teacher's college circle used to bless me during my BHSS and Vijaya College days then again in Surana days it was quarters ganesha then TWB training centre had a Ganesha temple next to it even the corporate office had a temple very next to it before each assessment or often weekly I used to visit.

During Bright academy tuition days Koramangala Kalyana Mantapa Ganesha with the delicious badam halwa on Thursdays as prasada was awesome

For my Quantum BSO days the Ganesha at Kodanda raama temple next to Hotel Mercury in Koramangala has blessed me.

Offlate Basavangudi Dodda Ganesha is the one these days i often visit.

Om Ganeshaya Namaha! Looking forward to this year's Ganesha Habba with lots of sweets along with my Gowree (Ramya) and family

Happy Ganesha Festival in advance :) May Ganesha bring lots of joy to your life!

Memories Loaded - Part 2

Continuing from where I left..!!

Memories memories memories ... probably we human beings are blessed by god for having awesome memories.

It always fascinates me how the social networking makes so much fun of a GUY's memory e.g. a husband forgets his wife's birthday etc.. etc.. Hmmm I don't know is it a guy's fate or he really forgets.

I have tried to remember most of my friend's and cousin's birthday but the only difference is we don't wish them probably because of the ego factor that they dint wish us on our birthday. The logic may be right or wrong but our mind is well trained to find out these lags! Knowingly or unknowingly our mind is calculating last year this person had called this year he/she has just texted and prejudicially we expect that probably this person may not wish us on our next birthday.

I know the above scenario is not applicable for very close group (family/ first circle of close friends) but for the seconds and thirds..

They say when you are happy you love the music and when you are sad you understand the lyrics of the song! I dont know about the first part but it is true about second.

What to do? all our memories of being at a place or missing a person's intensity doubles or triples especially when you have had very good memories along with a person (friend/girl friend / spouse) at a particular place (theatre / adda / hang out place) listening to the song just not the song (PARTICULARLY there will be an aura behind a PARTICULAR song  with that person).

Trust me this happens.. may be we are ignorant in our busy life to notice it. Just come out of your mechanical so called WELL PAID (well slaved) life and see. Its so damn true that one has to invest a lot of time in observing the environment..  somebody in your office may have a ringtone (pretty old one - any language for the instance) when you hear those small bit of music it will take you ages back.

I am sure each one of us have our own favorite hero/heroine/composer/singer/performer etc. but music and its memories have no boundaries.

I dont know how many of you listen to FM.. there was a show in Fever 104 called as "Picture Pandey" by Anurag Pandey (RJ) he used to tell why songs connects us it is because even a Flop film may have good songs. So many songs of flop movies are hit and it remains.

I remember FM radio era the initial days when Sumanth (my cousin) who first introduced me to FM Radio used to have a walkman like radio I remember the RJs - Vasanthi Hariprakash, Suresh Venkat, Kiran.. etc.. it was a revolution because until FM came we used to buy cassete and most of us have/had tape recorders at home and those who could afford had CD/DVD players but what FM radio did was that you could listen to the latest songs without paying a penny. That's how it is built and running successfully probably accross the country and world

Memories with radio continue as we used to carry pocket sized radio to BHSS to listen to score updates.. then came FM radio machine where we had to fine tune the particular frequency to listen to particular station. I have a radio at home battery operated one Elephant's shape.. I loved it and bought in City market probably for 200 rs 8-10 years ago.. I love it because it was a master piece it used to be a toy for the kids  who used to visit my home as the trunk of the elephant used to move along with the light in the eye and play songs non-stop. I had purchased rechargable cells so that it ran continuosly.

With nokia phones launching phones FM radio phones it became all students/ working professionals travel time partner within Bengaluru

There is a lot to talk about memories lets see the small list below I dont want to make this an elaborated one its already quite tiring to read I know:

Games memory- kunte bille ( I used to play along with Swami, Jofin) at school, quarters time goli, lagori, choor chendu, cricket, BHSS alli football (interfering football where we used just jump into the field where already 2 teams are playing a game and intention is to kick the ball ashte no goal nothing) eye spies (high time game when there used to be powercut..! The one who is "out" probably never get in), chowka barah (with ajji -  I remember i used to cry when i lose), aluguli mane, baccha aata ( where u throw stones flat marble kind), book cricket, pen fight, hand tennis, box tennis, quarters gode tennis, football (donkey), haavu eni (snake and ladder), Business (loved this game always I used to be in debt! :) remembering Ashu where I used to go to his home to play), shuttle cock, gilli daandu,"Am I right",  Sodiyap (description cannot be given Kai masiyo aata),  amele quarters alli kolu hidkondu elru ondaata aadtidvi out agirora kolanna doora tallabeku with others kolu and if the person catches u while doing so u r out.. Mara koti (I dint play though)i have seen others playing, leg cricket ( altime favorite), russian cricket, video games (contra, mario), hand video games (brick games, and one car race), Cyber ge hogi road rash, NFS... many I have left!!

I close this.. food hangouts coming up next

Memories Reloaded

Go and ask your parents - do they still meet their friends (old.. very old).. Answers will be NO/YES based on one's connects with their  old friends

If Whats app / Facebook / Twitter etc weren't there most of the friends in our friends list wouldn't be connected,

Lets talk this way..!! how many were/are still "Hi and Bye" friends

There are friends who never speak they meet at a common place E.g.: Smoker's zone, bus, train, car who just wave/smile at each other.

Guy's Gossip starts at Smoker's zone if at all they gossip!

Girls gossip its better I dont try to find where it starts..!!

Hello, Varun (Vroom) is back with a blog! Of course the idea of getting into a blog was there in my minds from ages.. but couldn’t get into as it needed my dedicated time to write.

I am comfortable to scribble all my thoughts on a paper and not on a laptop/blog but change is inevitable!

The title I have kept is "Tochiddu...... Geechiddu..!!!" means the thoughts that randomly pops out have been scribbled here..!! Nothing great but its my feelings, or thoughts or my opinion or my frustrations/expressions coming out in this way.

So here we go....*

*I may switch to Kannada/Telugu/Tamil/Malayalam/English/Hindi/Bahubali's kalakeya's language anytime as I have the freedom of choosing language based on my GREAT FICKLE MIND!
